We all are in a time right now where we are forced to stay home. However I think it's impossible to be able to stay at home for 3 total months. During this quarantine I have took the time to be able to find some cool, isolated places around where I live to to go during this hard time. These places are not extremely populated. Being at home for so long I really needed to be able to see nature.I live in a beautiful town, with amazing places to go to and wonder. I am so lucky to live in New Hope and I want to be able to share that with you.
Ingham Springs also known as Aquetong Spring, which is located off the intersection of Route 202 and Lower Mountain Road, a fixture of Solebury Township. This place is so beautiful and is one of my favorite spots to go to. It is so peaceful and very limited people come to this spot.
There is not just the wonderful waterfall, there is land where you can lay down and have a picnic. But also picnic benches as well if you would rather sit. This place is truly wonderful.
Both these images were taken from my camera from when I have gone to this spring. The first image shows the actual spring, while the second image shows the park area.
As Cuttalossa Road is more of a hidden road, once you find it you would never guess how truly amazing it is. This is my second favorite spot to go to, especially when I need to go off my phone and get a cleanse. This road is one of the most scenic roads I have ever seen in Pennsylvania. I am so glad that I was able to discover this road and share it to many other people. I have known about this road since I was in elementary school. It is so peaceful and relaxing and not even can you drive on it, you can park your car and walk on it as well.
This spot you might already know of but I promise you it can never get old. As you cross the bridge into lambertville, you make a right hand turn into the lambertville station where you can find a parking lot for the toe path. Once you start walking for around a half of a mile, on your right you will see the entrance to the wingdam. As it might look scary or intimidating because it is a large piece of cement on water, the view is incredible.
This image of the sunset, was on the wingdam and taken from my phone.
Goat Hill is another beautiful place where you can overlook the entire town of New Hope. This overlook is a short drive to Lambertville, NJ. This place takes my breath away everytime. It truly is spectacular and I never get old of this place too. There is one area where is the main overlook of the town, but there are little overlooks all over the area.
A good hike but well worth it is Devil’s Tea Table located in Kingwood NJ. It's a steep hill up but once you are up there you can't get a better view. The rocks are really high but once you stay calm and look around it's amazing.
Honey Hollow is another good place to go and many people might have gone there when they were kids for school trips. This quiet but adventurous place has many trails and hiking areas you can go on. In this image below you can see the huge pond that many people go to and like it fish. There are many sitting areas you can find around this pond and once you can sit it is very peaceful.
I am surprised that I am letting people know about my secret place, the Waterfall, but it is so amazing that I people are going to find out about it soon. This waterfall is located in Kingwood Township, so around 20 minutes away from New Hope, but it is well worth the drive. Once you park you'll see one path. Make sure you bring your rain boots because it gets muddy. To arrive at the actual waterfall it takes around 10-15 minutes to get to the spot, but don’t worry it is well worth the view.
Washington Crossing Historic Park is a popular park but it never goes wrong because of how big it is. This park is one of my favorite places too because usually I take runs here and then when I get super overheated, I go into the pool! This is a really cool place to come to with your friends and enjoy the scenery. This is right across from the Bohmans Tower entrance.
For this special place, from New Hope it is only, around 45 minutes away. Bring your own hammer to strike the boulder field at Ringing Rocks Park and hear them ring like a bell! Not only is this beautiful a place, you can also make bells sound too. How interesting!
Another road that I enjoy driving on or walking on is Meeting House Road. This road is truly beautiful and I am so lucky to live so close. On this road there are many amazing houses but the most spectacular part are the cows that are at the end of the road.
